Do I need a web hosting service to build a webpage?

I like to build a webpage to market and sell products with dropshipping wholesale supplier. I registered for my own domain. Do I need a web hosting to build a webpage? I tried hostgator, supergreen, and many others, and none of them work or that I couldn’t login to cPanel. They won’t work. I’m sorry to say I have no experience in building webpage. Anyone that can help me will be greatly appreciated.

first of all you need to know how to write html to design a web page. or you need to have softwares like dream weaver which help you design without writing codes. once you done developing your website, then you need to host it using some web hosting service provider. since you r looking for e commerce i would suggest you hire a professional.

No, you don’t need it to build one at all! There is software that helps you create webpages, its just that most web hosting services also have their own ones, too! If you want to own a website, then yes, you do need one, unless you are the hosting service, of course! I hope this helps you out! ;D

Web hosting is required once you are ready to launch your website and make it accessible to the rest of the Internet community. You will have to purchase a web hosting plan, create an account with the web hosting company, and then you will be given access to their control panel.
Given that you need to want to create an e-commerce website, and that you have no experience in developing websites, you should consider either a) hiring a web developer to create your website and host it for you or b) using a service like e-Bay for selling your products.

Almost all web hosting companies offer software to use free.
You can build a web site without a Web host but and here is a big BUT if you plan on publishing it to the Internet you need to purchase a Web hosting Company as well.

Some (not all) of the other answers are only about basics but you are talking about e-commerce. There is free open source e-commerc software and there are also hosting providers who offer pre-installed e-commerce packages. You will need some expert professional help either way if you plan to be up and running soon. Otherwise you should not have expectations of a quick startup. It takes some time to learn how to use such a software package and setup your store.

You don’t need web hosting to build a site, but you will need it when you want to publish your site to the web! Hi, if you’re looking for a nice hosting site, I recommend a couple of the following which don’t cost too much and yet provides everything you need to start your business online. Yes web hosting is needed you need both a web host and a domain to run a website. Without these those you cannot do anything, so you need both to start up your own restaurant.

Yes you need hosting! HostGator is by far the best in my opinion but to get your started check out http://getafreedomain.net/ You can get a free domain name there and also use the hostgator link on the page for a discount. Yes , your problem is may be occurred the service provider, I am using some websites without any problem still now, I get the domain name and host site from the http://www.xnynz.com/ site, You can also get at low cost and solve your problems.

Yes, you need hosting for your website. See, once the website is designed you’ve to host it on a web server which must be attached through a domain name. No. To build a website you need a website builder not a web hosting service. But there is no point in having a website without uploading to a server ie hosting (to a server). Yes after building a website you can upload it to the hosting service the HTML file
or you can buil directly in some hosting providers. The one a I am talking about has a site builder feature in it.
