Business is business. Right? The main danger of GMOs is, that they will extinct natural grown food. Once they have their dead seed established worldwide, no one could ever plant crop without the allowance and the license from monsanto. Thats where it starts.

apparently in …
apparently in mexico testing was done on native corns which have not been geneticly modified, GM crops are banned in mexico…but guess what?
the genes were found in the native corns… even if we ban gm crops now, we wont eliminate them. the damage is done. monsanto knows the profits are greater then any payout for lawsuits. so they lie to us all to make a buck

GM Food is more of …
GM Food is more of a harm then a gain. The government is just defending it so that they can make money, teaching teens about how great GM food is. In the past, when there is no GM food, look at the cancer rate. Now, with all this weird GM food, 1 out of 5 people have cancer. I don’t know why people defend for GM food.

GMO’s are just the tip of the iceberg. The FDA recently granted approval for cloned meat to be marketed to the public — without any requirement to be labeled as such. Time to either go organic or give up meat and soy altogether.
Good alternate sources of protein: wild salmon, organic eggs, beans, lentils, nuts and seeds.

Boycott Yves Veggie …
Boycott Yves Veggie Foods! I personally questioned them about their soy product and they lied and stated it’s organic when in fact it’s GMO. They expected me to believe that “organic” isn’t mentioned on the packaging because there was no room left to print it. LOL!
As well, Yves wouldn’t respond to a query from a consumer website compiling info on which companies use hexane (an explosive and toxic gas) to extract the soy oil from the plant. It’s a clear admission of guilt that they do.

Not all things which are food safety will people even care about if they think they get to drink a Pepsi and it won’t make their butt fatter. I mean Aspertame, which is just poison.
Sugar isn’t deadly. For diabetics, occasionally, which is for whom such foods were first intended. But now in order to stop gaining weight, we want foods that will kill us so we can be sexy.
People are nuts. Look who diet sodas are targeted to primarily to women. Smart women don’t drink soda.

Preach on brother, this GMO stuff is out of control and just sickens me. Without good food and water we have nothing. These s like Monsanto are destroying some of the most important things on this planet and their damage is rapidly spreading. You can’t mess with the nature without their being major consequences.
Many people in North America don’t even know what GMO means so it’s good to spread the word as much as possible.

Consumers had to had at least the right to decide whether they want to BUY with THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY the GMOs food, monsanto is suing all sorts of small farms for LABELING that their milk or their corn doesnt contain GMOs or r-BGH!!! for Gods sake! how can that be good/right/fair?? only for profit? how much money is enough??? trillionaires?? how much is enough? Also, GMOs have not been studied correctly, if they prove to be safe, then be it! but the’yre not! substantially equivalent is a joke

I’m sorry to appear immature and biased, I guess this issue has a very strong emotional charge, a soon to be nutritionist shouldn’t be advocating GMOs as an answer to developing third world countries and world hunger/famine, there are being developed new alternatives ans sustainable organic farming practices, do a research on monsanto BT cotton and their deception on indian farmers. History repeats itself here, its all deception and lies. Monsanto lies, google for it. Its not your friend.

im not denying that, i’ve looked into it too, and your right they are in in for profit, at the poorers expense i guess. its how the world works though, you may think it irrational but if they do make profit for it but still sort out developing countries’ health problems (coz THAT costs too) then why not?
Coz they can hardly do it themselves, and yes its unfair that we make profit, but power overrules in these organisations over our small voices, we all know that

Because so little scientific research has been done and what little there is is of such short duration we probably don’t know just what these frankenfoods will do to us.We do know that Genetic modification is not an EXACT Science, there are too many unknowns, admitted by the scientists doing the research, for it to be unleashed on the human and animal and natural populations. The goal of GMOs is money and market control..saturation, not some altruistic, feed the starving world bandaid.

There have been numerous studies of GM foods which have had negative results.The GM industry has done an excellent job in not letting this information get into the public arena and when it does it has the complicity of the US media to further obfuscate and lie about the results.Most of the testing and “scientific” data we see is done by the industry for the industry, funded by the industry. Even more disturbing is the funding coming from the pharmaceutical industry. ASK YOURSELF WHY?!!!

well yeah in terms of being insect repellent, but i highly doubt it will mutate in your body!
We eat soy (GM) products in the UK aswell, which have recently been allowed, for their insect repellence only, and i dont think theres been any incidences of mutations/reduced bowel health DUE to it.
Greenpeace and this guy base all their arguments on ONE piece of research from 1999 on rats, which was a from a GM POTATO, not soy..

whats wrong with GM …
whats wrong with GM foods if theyre just insect repellent? i live in the UK so we have strict laws on what can & cant be grown GM-wise.
we do however allow insect repellent corn, canola, cotton, soybean, which helps agriculture..
personally i dont think GM foods are too bad, I believe things should be left natural but I also think if we create things like Golden Rice for mass malnutrition tackling, as long as it has been approved genetically/health-wise, its fine!!
