    prettty sure he’s …
    prettty sure he’s locking the pick between the first and second joint of his index finger so he has the flesh of his thumb accessible for use when he wants to. he can pop the pick out from his index and use it to solo. i just tried it, seems to work okay haha.
    in anycase. this guys PRO.

    In addition to playing great, he VERY efficiently cribs and retrieves the pick presumably from between the index and middle finger. Does the middle finger ring have anything to do with it? He’s not wearing it on Perfect Waves.
