When is the first offical day of tornado season for strom chasers?

Please don’t say between the months on March and June; I would like a specific date that chasers begin going after tornadoes. Thank you!

There is no official first day. The first day that chasers go out is the first day that the ingredients for severe storms and tornadoes appear that they will come together over an area. That varies year to year.
