There is no official first day. The first day that chasers go out is the first day that the ingredients for severe storms and tornadoes appear that they will come together over an area. That varies year to year.

Easier to make the link a popup link calling a popup file with the video. You can control the size of the page to fit just the video. On the popup page, you can add a "Close This Window" button.

IE probably closed the website because the website was trying to run a program. There are security settings for this because some programs might be ones you want to run, and other ones might be bad. The best advice I can give you is have a friend who likes computers diagnose the problem.

Alternatively, try Mozilla Firefox. It is only a little bit different, but most of the stuff "under the hood" works much better. You could also try Google Chrome, which is a lot different but one of the most well-functioning browsers.

I daresay the developers are paid more because they are computer programmers, not just graphic designers on Macs. (And no, having a Mac isn’t required; it’s cheaper but not as elitist to have a PC).
