I am interested in putting products from my business online. I can create a web site. I need to know what is neccessary to put it online the world wide web.

To put a web site online, you need a host company. And if you intend to make this an online business, it has to be a ‘real host company’, not a freebie. You need a good url as well. You also need to have a shoppingcart so people can purchase your items and it needs to be a secure one as well, and able to take cc or paypal payments. The top host companies can also provide shopping carts. You then need to design your site so that it can be found by the search engines…this measn an SEO ready web site, search engine readable, good use of content, keywords, navigation and so much more. Without SEO, your web site may not achieve top placements. Of course, you can allways use PPC, pay per click. There is much to consider when wanting to develop a web site store front.

I have two Audiobahn AW122N’s in a sealed box, but I want to upgrade to a vented box. I have the manuals for them and they have all the parameters and all the info that you woud need to build three different vented boxes. But they do not have the dimensions or any diagrams on how to build them. I was just wondering if there is a web site that I could go and put the info into and it will give me a design or dimensions of the box. All i need is a picture with dimensions on it so I can build the box. So is there a site i can go to? any suggestions.

What is the most important thing you would tell your customers about your home-renovation business? What makes you stand out from the crowd? Since they can hire anybody, why should they hire you? Those are the kinds of questions that your website must answer. A friend of mine once told me any website should answer three questions: Can you help me with my problem? How can I contact you? and How much will it cost? You should also include (with permission) some before and after pictures of homes you have renovated.(along with testimonials) This will give customers a good idea of your capabilities. IFSM question. I need to explain why you still need to check links by hand when using a web site authoring program and a situation in which the program would not identify the link as broken when it is. Please help. I am totally stumped.

An authoring program cannot always detect a broken link correctly. The reason is, the website could be setup to redirect you to a "default" page if the link you are requesting is no longer available. So the authoring program (or any program) will still think its pointing to a correct link because it doesn’t get an error. But technically, the link is broken because it no longer displays the page you requested. So always do a manual link search to check for outdated links.

It looks like answers has changed your source and added a bunch of …’s … so just add <title>My Home Page</title> to the front of your source.
