I’m looking for a site that shows the number of pitchers a pitcher throw in a start. Example may be Cole Hamels threw 40 fastballs, 32 changeups and 10 curveballs in his start on Saturday. Is there a site that has that information?

Stats, Inc. keeps track of such things but most of their info is proprietary and that means you have to pay for it.

I’ve tried to find information on significant archaeological sites which centre around the way the site was excavated & not the site itself. I’ve tried so many archaeological sites, but I can’t find much information on how they were excavated - which is what my assignment particularly asks for.

Do you know any good websites that have information on the EXCAVATION of a famous archaeological site? Or do you know any good archaeological sites which were famous for their excavation?

If I remember correctly, we’re both in Year 11 and in Queensland, right? Because that sounds like an assignment I actually completed last term. I don’t know if this will be helpful or not, but I’ll tell you what I based mine on and maybe it will help you think of other ideas;

I focused my essay on Tollund Man, in Denmark. While my assignment did discuss that actual excavation, I also talked about how his discovery was significant in the fact that it led to the advances in modern scientific archaeological methods. It was actually quite interesting because he wasn’t the only bog body found in that particular area; Elling Woman was another. Although, researching her to tie it into my assignment was a bit of a pain.

The only other thing I thought about when reading this, was Otzi, the iceman. There’s been some really interesting documentaries done on him and they talk about the excavation *and* dating methods and techniques.

Sorry if I just went completely off topic and led you in the wrong direction, but sometimes I find ideas can stem off that way. : ) Good luck with your assignment!

Creating sites is something that i am very good at. Since i am good at it. I would like to use this skill of mine to earn money online. I would like to create a site that i would earn money from. But i don’t know what kind of site it should be. I do have ideas but they are not solid.

I’m looking for a site where there are a lot of members who are willing to thoroughly and seriously critique my work. An attractive site design is also a plus (a shoddy design tends to tell me in my gut that I’m getting something second-rate). I also want a site that accepts diverse styles of writing and is open to the traditional as well as the nontraditional in poetry.

Anyway, finding a roommate means you want to find a room in a shared accomodation and the best way to do that is via Marktplaats where you can post or respond to adverts placed on this site (but it’s only in Dutch) http://www.marktplaats.nl/

- ‘Plaats of postcode’ fill in the town/city or postcode of the place you are looking at and then in the next field the distance search in km
- ‘Wat zoekt u?’ - choose ‘huizen en kamers te huur’ (houses & rooms to rent)
- ‘Prijsklasse’ - fill in min/max prices (optional)
- press ‘zoek’ (search)

However most places will require you to stay a minimum of one year, and unless you have a confirmation of a residence permit (which I explained in depth in your last question) then it is a bit silly to sign a contract if you are not sure you are going to be able to stay. It’s a contract and you will have to pay even if you leave. Also all legal landlords will require you register with the municipality and once again, if you do not have the legal status you cannot register.

As for dating sites then there are several in Dutch that advertise well you only want ones in English and quite frankly this puts you in a minority then and with far more people from abroad looking for a minority of people who only speak English in the Netherlands. As a result you are going to find lots of scam sites and scammers looking to cash in to people wanting to find relationship visa partnerships - just a friendly warning! e.g. http://www.gracenglamour.com/prevent-yourself-from-online-dating-scams/

This is the same for roommate sites as well in English for the Netherlands, there just isn’t a big enough market apart from scammers trying to cash in!

So I don’t know the BEST dating site in English but a reputable site (at least for other things than dating is Expatica and they have a section for dating http://netherlandsdating.expatica.com/

Otherwise you can try the social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace and the Dutch one http://www.hyves.nl/ (also in English)

I have used Komposer in the past, it`s a free editor ( a WYSIWYG ) editor.
