A few of my favorites at the moment are of Montreal, Grizzly Bear, and Rufus Wainwright. I want to start listening to some more good indie bands. Who do you recommend?

I’ve been putting the rubber band behind the the hook of the top bracket. Am I supposed to put it in the middle where the groove is (or something) and then pull it to hook the other brackets?

I’m not asking for the formation, just HOW do you attach the rubber bands.

Okay..go to your top bracers and find the hook and then drag it down to bottom and find the hook there, its either infront or behind the origional one.

One of my favorite bands is the ramones, and i was wondering what other bands there are that are like them.

I like old songs from the smashing pumpkins like Disarm, Bullet with butterfly wings, 33, Zero, today and more. Their new stuff isn’t really good.And most of the rock bands today are lame. Does anyone out there know bands that sound like the Smashing Pumpkins? I like other bands but the smashing pumpkins seems to be my favorite.

I’d would start by listening to an album not just singles.
Then try Catherine (Hot Saki and Bedtime Stories), The Cure, Jane’s Addiction.

I need to know some good bands who have an electronic or techno kind of sound to them. It’s important that they have a singer that sings in all their songs. I don’t want to listen to a band that’s just all sound and no vocals. I would prefer new bands or bands that are still active today, but any good sounding bands are fine. Oh and I don’t want any bands like basshunter who just sing about stupid crap like love.

Well. Deadmau5 has some lyrics. And Justice has some lyrics. Hmmm. Try Simian Mobile Disco or Nitzer Ebb. Simian Mobile Disco has good lyrics on the Attack Decay Sustain Release album. Yes, they are still an active band, and so is Nitzer Ebb.

I haven’t dabbled much in electronic music, and really want to learn more on how to make it. Does anyone know what equipment / software bands like owl city and the postal service use for their drum beats?

This is a video of Jimmy Tamborello from the Postal Service giving a tour of his studio. I watched it a few months ago because I was curious about the same thing and it explains a lot. Basically you have to have thousands of dollars worth of equipment and a LOT of spare time. Still sounds awesome though.

Bon-Jovi fits that description, in my opinion.

The dumbest songs I have ever heard are by Bon-Jovi, but they are known for being very kind and giving to their fans. Even though I think they play the stupidest music on earth, I still have respect for them for the way they treat their fans.

What other bands fit that description?

I love listening to bands that aren’t really in the spotlight. It annoys me because every time I find a really good band, people hear one song from them over the radio and become obsessed. So does anyone know any really good bands that no one will know? Thanks!
