All those punk pop bands have vocals that sounds really edgy and technologic. Is there a tool they use to hook up their amp that makes it sound like that? Is it like audiotune? Because i’ve been wondering since i thought it was all edited in untill i saw a couple bands using it live.

you mean like daft punk?
a vocal synthesizer or something. :P

If your referring to bands like All Time Low then they just suck really bad. I was surprised when you could have a whole genre of terrible vocals.

all time low’s vocals are nothing like she’s describing.
and alex gaskarth’s voice is incredible.

if you’re thinking bands like hellogoodbye
    bthey use autotune.
you can turn onto different levels, and when it’s turned up high like that,
it makes their voices sound technologic-y

A lot of bands like the Briefs and the Marked Men use a distortion effect on their vocals. Makes it sound like you’re shouting through a bullhorn.
