Is it necessary to have a BFA and a MFA to become an established artist in India? Does art education play an important role? Is is necessary to have a degree and masters in your portfolio description for people to appreciate your paintings.

Can a self taught artist become an established artist if he has great talent? If he holds exhibition after exhibition, and on the strenght of his art alone, can he prove his art to the world, that education is not everything, inborn talent can also prevail.

Here in western europe, art educations only teach you some way of thinking. You don’t learn how to paint at all. People do look at the resume, but it helps more when they like your work.

If you practice a lot on your own effort, you can gain skills and develop your own style. Of course talent helps. But you also need to practice every day.

I have Windows 7. Every time I close the web page I am on there are at least two other web pages I have to close underneath it that I haven’t even been to.( Surveys and contests). My pop up blocker is set on high. What can I do to stop this?

A long time ago I remember seeing a webpage that interestingly showed the difference between a male and female orgasm by shaking the web browser. I thought it was kinda cool but I can no longer find it. Does anyone know of this site or where it is. I know its out there somewhere.

I have used Komposer in the past, it`s a free editor ( a WYSIWYG ) editor.

A lot of good results can be obtained using it.

If you have an existing, basic corporate web site and you want to embed code for an already-created "web form" how long, on average would that take? A new page would need to be created (copied) with a new web address of course to point to.
Just curious - web developer said it would take 2 hours. Seems long to me.

Yes, that sounds long to me too.

If they literally have to copy and existing file and then replace the body with the form to embed, it should take all of 5 minutes.

I downloaded crawler for free screensavers and it went to my crawler webpage and now I am trying to set my webpage to my yahoo webpage. It keeps telling me I am working offline.

try uninstalling the software, if it goes back to your homepage, then culprit is the software
if not, go to tools > options > main (firefox) then type desired homepage then OK, for IE tools > Internet option, type homepage, then OK..if all else fails try file > then uncheck work offline in the internet explorer that applies too in firefox.

Does anyone know where I can find some simple, clean graphics for webdesign? I am looking for things like arrows for next buttons, symbols that represent larger image available (usually simple plus signs), e-mail symbols, etc.

For $19, the one I’ve used over the years is a cd I bought from http://www.grsites.com - a wealth of not only buttons but also website textures (backgrounds) and fonts.

I remember I had this translation thing on my toolbar that with a single click, translated the whole web page to my desired language.
When I reinstalled Facebook, the translation thing disappeared.
I’ve been trying to find it, but the only add-ons I find are ones that require you to highlight a section of the web page and click "Translate".
I don’t want to go through and translate everything.

Yes, Google it self provides web page translator into English. You can get that icon in Google toolbar at Firefox.
