Watch out for scammers though - unfortunately there are scammers looking on boards like this trying to get money. Don’t ever wire money or send a cheque as a deposit before you have seen the room in person and met the person you will be living with. The typical scam is to ask you to send money to a friend via Western Union or Money Gram and send the receipt to the "renter" to prove that you have the funds, but they end up using a fake ID to withdraw the money from Western Union.

But as long as you speak to an actual person, view the flat and meet your potential flatmates in person, then you should not get scammed.

MY friend wants to buy some in game gold, but we cannot find a trust worthy site to do so, If you know of one please post it.

Really they all with give you the gold but its they have your credit card number now and they can do what they like with it you can try Ebay. or you can just ask WoW’s GM to just bane your acc now and same your money and time lol good luck!

they shouldnt charge you anything just to draw up your tattoo, it’s all a part of the process unless you already have something with you

I just got my braces changed and the nurse/lady/person or whatever didn’t put it on right and one of the colored bands just fell off. She did it weird, because there’s this rubber band thing stretched across my first four teeth, and then she put colored bands on top of that. Do you think it’s okay if I wait for my next appointment (May 22) or go back now?

You have to consider the whole thing seriously. Setting up a web page, or even a site, is not a problem by itself. If you have no experience, you could find someone to do it for you with low costs. However, a site with no exposure or web presence worth nothing. You have to optimize your jewelry site for search engines, promote it in all possible ways and invest a lot of time, effort and resources in getting targeted traffic to your site.
Consider your web site as you consider any other business. Build a business plan, set up targets and milestones and define your budget for investing in your site. Otherwise it is good for showing to your friends and not much more.

Whenever I try and open a webpage it just closes down again. I need to fix this without having to shell out the £50 at PC world. Any ideas how I can fix it?

I made a graphic design web site in dreamweaver and now I want a web hosting site for it. What would be the best one to get. I don’t need any paypal capabilities. I only need one domain, but I will need alot of other pages as I have alot of artwork.

All of those hosts have multiple, redundant, extremely fast internet connections, and they all support Dreamweaver made websites (since Dreamweaver outputs standard HTML code, of course).

What if it is a not public company. What about the company details. I am wandering if I have a scam or a great company to invest in? The investment is through a ‘friends and family’ oppertunity.

Each state in which they actively do business should also have a record of them on the state website. Go to www.XX.gov (where XX is the 2 letter state abbreviation for the state you are looking up) and somewhere within the state website should be a way to lookup the company by name. They give very little info though, an address and some general stuff.

To check the company out, ask them for their most recent Profit and Loss statement, and Balance sheet (or some form of proof for whatever they are claiming to do). If they can’t get you either of those thats a major red flag.

Personally though, I’d avoid "Friends & Family" stuff. It rarely works out and could end up costing you a friend (or a family member who you never speak too). For years my mother wouldn’t talk to one of our uncles over something like this, and he was a really sharp guy. He just got mom and dad into a deal that didn’t work out. Also, if it was a great company they probably wouldn’t need your money.

I am trying to start a web cam conversation in yahoo messenger beta, I can not figure out how to start a webcam convo, i didthe right click on the name and setting and hit the webcam… but its not really a web cam convo I think its just to test your webcam any help would be great thanks!

To start a conversation, click Actions on your Messenger toolbar and in the drop down menu click, "Invite to view webcam".

But first, you have to have someone on the other end of an instant message, after you make the invite, they’ll have to respond in the affirmative, your webcam will turn itself on and you can begin your conversation.
