I have been in a relationship with a Chinese girl for a while now. She was one of the top students in her province in high school and now as she nears the end of college is having a lot of pressure to take the exams to get a public offical (government position, unsure proper name) which is very prominent. While I want to encourage her and will, I am mostly concerned if she goes through with this, if our relationship will cause more than troubles with opinion? Just curious if anyone has known of this situation before. Thanks.

It's called public servant(公务员) in China. Many college students want to get a position in the government. But it's very difficult to pass the exam just by your score. Sometimes you'll have to know someone inside and make some gestures. It's ugly. But it's the reality. You can ask this question on http://ask.jongo.com/ They deal with all kinds of China-related questions. Maybe you can get more useful informations there. Good luck with the exam and your relationship.

Ok, so lets say I have a big idea. All I need is some web guys to build it for me. But, I have no money, so im willing to offer company equity. Where do i find web guys to build this. I go to school at a university but have been finding it hard to get in contact and/or find students or anyone who does web design. Where would you start?

First off, your school may not have a web design program. You need to find a speciality tech school in your area or another college or university that has a web program. Once you find the school, post an ad on their job posting board. It can usually be found at the career services office. In most cases you need to tell someone in the office that you want to post the ad. They may even have online posting which is a bonus for you. Some schools won't let you post unless you are paying the students x amount of money but you can just say that the rate is negotiable.
