The Four Ps

I don’t see a point in making English the offical language. We have never had one and English is still around so why is everyone so worried that this language will go away if we don’t make it official? Most people that move to the U.S. end up learning English anyway. What are your thoughts? Is it really necessary for the United States to have an offical language?

Many of the proponents of the English Only position hold that it would be less expensive and would also encourage diversity. Many municipalities and government agencies currently print documentation in two or more languages, driving up the costs to provide this service.

It would also provide better opportunities for employment if everyone spoke the same language in a business situation. Bilingual employees would not be required in critical service areas and there would be an assurance that everyone would be able to get the same information.

There are many points in favor and against English Only, if you do some research, you should be able to answer this question on your own far more thoroughly than anyone in this space.

I’m looking for a good web-based platform to use for an online newsletter or magazine. We’re going to transition from print to web, and I’d like to know what’s available out there and am not sure where to start looking. Thanks.

Use Google or some other such site and type in "disability claims in Texas" or the Social Security site. Depending on what your disability is you may be eligible for SSDI (Social Security Disability Income).
If it is a Workers Compensation claim then contact the company you worked for and ask them for the name a phone number of the insurance company they use.

Hey guys, i just bought a new radar detector for my car, it is able of detecting several different bands… POP Alert, X Band, K Band, Ku Band, VG-2 Alert and Spectre 1 Alert. Which one of these should i have activated at all times and what the difference between them? Thanks

The different bands on radar are like stations on a radio. Different police forces use different bands of radar, to deal with different conditions.

By default, they should all be on all the time

Try wget … It’s a little complicated to start with, but it will do just about any task you need for mirroring webpages or sites locally.
